Ruby & Bee Launches a Unique Online "Doggie and Me" Clothing Line

Long Beach, CA, March 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Ruby & Bee, a new online retailer of “Doggie and Me” clothing announced the official launch of its website and the Spring/Summer 2009 line. The all American made collection of women’s and men’s tees and coordinating dog clothes were designed for both pet lovers and their pets. The fun, graphic line includes screen-printed T-shirts, rhinestone-embellished collections, feminine dog dresses and reversible screened dog vests that coordinate.

“Dressing alike just emphasizes the loving bond people share with their dogs- as well as making a bold fashion statement.” Says Sherra Swailes aka “Ruby”, designer and co-owner of Ruby & Bee. The second half of this partnership is “Bee” a fourteen-year-old red English Cocker Spaniel. “She is my inspiration. I like to think the line has dignity because of her influence- although she is the silent partner” states Swailes.

Sherra has been working in the fashion industry for almost 20 years. She has designed everything from junior surf wear to Barbie Dolls. Now she has her sights set on “doggy and me” fashions. She says “I like to think of the dog park as my personal runway and every Saturday afternoon is my fashion week.”

Following with her strong convictions regarding animal rights a percentage of each sale will be donated to an animal rescue or a pet owner in need. In addition the line is all American made. All products are designed, screen-printed and sewn in Southern California using only the finest quality materials. Ruby and Bee is available online as well as in select pet boutiques.
