Illinois State University Selects Agilon Business Financials Powered by Agresso
Illinois State University Foundation has selected Agilon's Business Financials solution, powered by Agresso, to replace its legacy mainframe-based system.
Normal, IL, March 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Illinois State University Foundation (ISUF) has chosen Agilon's Business Financials - Powered by Agresso as its new fund accounting and financial management solution. Agilon's Business Financials is fully integrated with the Agilon ONE donor and prospect management system already in use at Illinois State University.
The new financial management solution includes General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Account Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, Investment Manager and Work Flow Automation.
ISUF had been using a legacy mainframe-based financial system. The system gave them limited reporting capabilities, and lacked features such as workflow management, alerts and automatic report distribution. ISUF selected Agilon's Agresso Business Financials as the most cost-effective solution to providing multi-organization fund accounting with process automation, on-demand reporting and web access.
"Our existing accounting system was quite old and required a number of work-arounds," says Bill Fanning, Director of Foundation Business Affairs at Illinois State University.
