Paul Christie Wins the 2009 Coaches’ Choice Marketing Award at ActionCOACH’s Regional Americas Conference
The conference culminated with its annual Awards Dinner to honor the “best of best” in the coaching community.
Las Vegas, NV, March 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- ActionCOACH, the number one business coaching firm in the world, hosted its 2009 Americas Regional Conference (March 1-6) at the Aliante Station Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The conference culminated with its annual Awards Dinner to honor the “best of best” in the coaching community.
This year, Paul Christie took top honors for the Coaches’ Choice Marketing Award.
Finalists for this year’s award included Brian Dombach, Craig Lowder, David Beam, Earl Kemper, Jon O'Malley, Ken Sevick and Tom Palzewicz.
ActionCOACH founder and CEO Brad Sugars presented the award.
“It is an honor to present this award to Paul Christie – who has done some outstanding work to promote the ActionCOACH business in Florida,” Sugars said. “Marketing is the life-blood of business – a great product without good marketing is going nowhere.”
Christie felt honored to be recognized by his peers for this award.
“We talk with business owners every day who are desperate for new marketing strategies that produce qualified leads. Marketing has always been a critical part of every successful business model, and in these economic times we are all forced to be better business people,” he said.
Christie emphasized the importance of testing and measuring, especially considering the tough times businesses are facing today.
“Business owners who have not been testing and measuring marketing results in the past no longer have that luxury,” he said. “These days, every marketing strategy needs to produce a return.”
Christie pointed out how he has made many marketing adjustments in his firm’s own marketing to capitalize on the opportunities that are present in this downturn.
“This year, we’ve shifted to a model focused on 1-on-1 coaching and strategic planning,” he said.
In addition, Christie stepped into the role of Territory Development Leader of the ActionCOACH Master Licensee business. In that capacity, he will focus on developing more coaching practices and firms throughout the State of Florida by awarding franchises to the right candidates.
Christie also took over marketing efforts for all ActionCOACH Business Coaches in the states of Florida, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama, as well as in Washington D.C.
