The Chiefs Football team a member of the MFL signed a phenomenal linebacker -- Deon Ogburn. He is currently attending Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland pursuing a business degree. The MFL is a professional football league based in the Washington Metropolitan Region.

The Chiefs Football Team Signed a local star athletic for their 2009 Football Season.
The Chiefs Football team a member of the Minor Football League signed a phenomenal linebacker -- Deon Ogburn. Deon graduated from Albert Einstein High School, Kensington, Maryland. He is currently attending Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland where he is pursuing a business degree. Deon was captain of his high school team and selected for All County for Montgomery County Maryland; he also received an honorable mention in the Washington Post as a middle linebacker. GM Myles said “he is a great linebacker! I like him and he has a great personality!”
The MFL is a professional football league based in the Washington Metropolitan Region. The MFL was founded in 1995 by NFL (New England Patriot) player Richard D. Myles Sr. MFL teams play from June through August. They play two bowl games: The Freedom Bowl – June 13, 2009 and the American Bowl – June 27, 2009. The goal of the MFL is to develop athletes by introducing them to professional football, to provide wholesome affordable entertainment to local communities and most importantly mentor our youth.
The MFL added three teams in 2009: The Calvert County Cowboys – Prince Frederick, MD; the District of Columbia Falcon – DC and the Baltimore Buccaneers – Baltimore Maryland.
