New Book of Love Poetry and Haiku Released by Robert Ropars
A new collection of poetry and haiku now available.
Chicago, IL, March 24, 2009 --(PR.com)-- New Book of Love Poetry and Haiku Released.
A new collection of poetry and haiku was published 3/9/09 by Robert Ropars, a Chicago area author.
"It's a step forward in my writing" said Robert Ropars, Author, "building upon the groundwork laid in my first poetry collection (“Carriage Returns”), and moves my writing in a deeper direction.” Reflecting on this change, he notes that “new life experiences have changed my heart and mind and thus my writing."
The poems and haiku in this collection were all written since the second half of 2008. Ropars states that he “wanted to tell the continuing story of my journey in life. In particular how I view love and relationships now compared with earlier time periods."
“Romantic Confessions” is available immediately, and can be ordered online for $6.50 + shipping at www.createspace.com or www.amazon.com. It has been submitted to Amazon’s Kindle program and should be available for download by 3/31/09 (for $3.25). Ropars is in the process of creating a Spanish version to broaden the book’s audience.
Robert maintains a blog (http://robertropars.wordpress.com), which highlights sample poems and haiku from his books of love poetry. Selected photography by the author is occasionally posted as well.
About the author: Robert Ropars is a Chicago area author who has published two collections of poetry and is an avid amateur photographer. He is currently at work on several creative projects including his first novel.
