Power Challenge Appoints Frank Sagnier as New CEO
Former Double Fusion, Electronic Arts Executive to Drive Expansion.
Linköping, Sweden, March 24, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Power Challenge announced the appointment of Frank Sagnier as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Sagnier was most recently Managing Director Europe of Double Fusion, the leading independent provider of in-game advertising solutions. He also spent eight years at Electronic Arts Europe where he ran marketing, third party publishing and online publishing.
“I’m very excited with the Power Challenge opportunity,” said Mr. Sagnier. “We have a very unique, high-quality in browser soccer game, a number of amazing partnerships such FOX Sports, Miniclip and Spill Group, all contributing to a fast growing consumer base and revenues coming from a mix of subscriptions, item sales and advertising.”
As VP Online Publishing, Mr. Sagnier launched casual game service Pogo in Europe, built new revenue streams including digital distribution and in-game advertising as well as developed new free-to-play initiatives such as FIFA online.
“As we move from a start-up mode to a growth mode, Frank is absolutely the right person to bring on board to take Power Challenge to the next level,” said Johan Christenson, founder of Power Challenge. “He was directly involved in the initial development of the FIFA free-to-play online proposition while at EA, so he’s a great fit for our online sports games.”
