PCB Mountable M12 Socket Connectors

Camarillo, CA, March 25, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Binder-USA’s newest addition to its M12 socket connectors is a shielded receptacle with PCB solder contacts. The integral shielding sheet can be fastened to the circuit board before the soldering process.

The new male and female receptacles are available with 4, 5 or 8 gold-plated contacts with A-, B-, or D-coding. When properly mated, the mated pair is IP 67-rated, protecting the connection from ingress of liquids and debris. Each receptacle is rear-mounted with PCB solder contacts. The M12 panel-mount receptacles are fully mating-compatible with other Binder-USA M12 connectors, including cordsets and field-attachable connectors.

The receptacles are part of Series 763 A-coded, Series 766 B-coded and Series 876 D-coded connectors.
