Renovated MRI Technology Program Flourishes at Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts
Gurnick Academy is proud to offer a new MRI Registry Review course within its MRI curriculum. This course provides elaborate and deep understanding of the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) exam. The MRI Registry Review course will prepare the student to take and pass the required registry board exams.
San Mateo, CA, March 27, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Each year Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts selects 5 candidates to undergo intensive training in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technology.
MRI Technology is a branch of diagnostic imaging that specializes in the visualization of the internal structure and function of the body. Comprehensive didactic knowledge and meticulous clinical training pave the way to success for the Gurnick Academy MRI student. Solid didactic training incorporates highly concentrated lectures and laboratories geared toward achievement. All classrooms are equipped with modern audio-visual teaching aides, anatomical charts and models that reinforce the concepts students will master. The library is contains additional research materials including videos, DVDs, textbooks, and registry exam preparation materials that supplement instruction.
Newly structured clinical training format allows for students to attend internship and didactic lectures and laboratories simultaneously. Gurnick Academy is proud to offer one-on-one hands on clinical training to all MRI students, giving them a highly individualized and focused education. Clinical internships consist of 1,000 supervised hours of MRI clinical training at prominent facilities throughout the Bay Area.
