Ken Atkins to Speak at USGBC Triangle Luncheon
Raleigh, NC, March 27, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Wake County Economic Development (WCED) (www.raleigh-wake.org) has announced that Ken Atkins, executive director, will speak at the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) North Carolina Triangle Chapter panel discussion and annual business meeting on Wednesday, April 8 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Raleigh Convention Center. “Stimulating our State Economy to Go Green” will feature Atkins and six other prominent Triangle area policymakers in discussing how to incorporate green features to further stimulate the local economy. Atkins will address what the Triangle is seeing in the area of sustainability. USGBC is a nonprofit community of leaders dedicated to making green buildings available to everyone within a generation.
