Lavendon Launches New Sales Division

Lutterworth, United Kingdom, March 28, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Lavendon Group PLC has unveiled its brand new sales division – Lavendon Sales. Launched on 9 March 2009 and based in Belgium, Lavendon Sales will have access to the Group’s European rental fleet taking responsibility for the sale of second hand machines, with a key focus on international business to business customers.

The DK Rental sales department enjoyed such a successful 2008, selling in excess of 1,500 units across France, Spain and Belgium, that it was decided to launch the new division with an internationally recognised identity across the whole group, as Dirk Naessens of Lavendon Sales explained: “In a way to bring the sales organisation to a global level, we needed a more internationally known name. Lavendon Sales is made up of the most experienced specialists in the business and will continue to promote the high levels of service that Lavendon is known for.”
