Bolney Resident Hosts Pub Quiz to Fundraise for Marathon Run
Bolney, United Kingdom, March 28, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Jo Colchester from Bolney, near Haywards Heath, is holding a pub quiz at 8pm on the 5th of April at the Eight Bells in Bolney to raise funds for the Family Holiday Association London Marathon team.
By holding the pub quiz and running in the marathon, Jo aims to raise as much as she can for the Family Holiday Association, a charity that gives breaks to disadvantaged children and their families, usually in a caravan at the seaside.
Jo said, “My favourite childhood memories are from when we camped by the sea. Outdoor living and a change of scenery was always a great adventure and lots of fun.
“Everyone looks forward to their annual summer holiday, especially as children – but what if we couldn’t have one?
