The BlueTruth.com Staff Risk Injury to Tests All Their Bluetooth Headsets
San Francisco based company BlueTruth.com wants their customers to be able to make an informed decision before purchasing a Bluetooth headset. Therefore they review, record, and test every headset that they carry. Recently, reviewing for the Scala Rider Bluetooth headset called for using some unconventional and dangerous means.
San Francisco, CA, April 09, 2009 --(PR.com)-- California based company BlueTruth.com has the motto "The Truth on Bluetooth." To give customers what they consider the truth, their website has editorial comments, user reviews that are live as soon as the customer hits the submit button, and recordings of each Bluetooth headset they sell being used in different situations that anyone can listen to.
Editor Pouria Yazdi stated, "We want to make sure that everyone on the staff is familiar and comfortable with every Bluetooth headset that we carry, so that we can be informative and honest in our reviews. We ran into problems testing the Scala Rider by Cardo, a Bluetooth headset made for motorcycle riders. None of us here ride a motorcycle, so we had to figure something out to be able to test it for our customers."
"Something" turned out to be Yazdi himself holding the headset up to his ear while standing on the passenger seat of his Hyundai Sedan, his head sticking out the sun roof while being driven around. This was done to mimic the openness that someone on a motorcycle would experience while using the headset.
When asked if he was worried for his safety while performing this stunt, Yazdi said, "I was more worried about getting pulled over and getting a ticket."
