This Mother’s Day Weekend, one woman will learn the true meaning of strength as she is forced to take an inventory on her personal life.
Raised on the south side of Chicago, Rebecca Wayne becomes bitter when her college friends start to live the life she envisions for herself, “(The American Dream).”
Ten years later, during a recession, the thirty-five year old, financial consultant is no longer able to afford her home and take care of her children.
This once established diva seems to be on a downward spiral and not even the man she has fallen for can heal her pain. Friends and family try to teach her valuable lessons when she hits rock bottom, but her pride pushes them away.
A series of broken relationships, and acceptance are just some of the issues, this single-parent will have to overcome.
