(www.medprorx.com), a provider of specialty pharmacy services to clients with chronic illnesses, has announced that the pharmacy is sponsoring Hemophilia of North Carolina’s (HNC) Adult Retreat on Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20 at Hilton Garden Inn Wilmington Mayfaire Town Center, located at 6745 Rock Spring Road in Wilmington, N.C. Attendees can participate in Dr. Ron Potter-Efron’s workshop “Getting Your Head On Straight,” where they can discuss how they are affected mentally and emotionally by their bleeding disorders and learn how to deal with stress in a positive and optimistic manner. There will also be a Sunday brunch cruise on the Henrietta III, the state’s largest riverboat. The retreat is open to HNC members ages 21 and over who are living with bleeding disorders, and each attendee may bring one adult guest.
