Dana Carvey and Friends Perform at Artcomedy 2009
San Francisco, CA, April 01, 2009 --(PR.com)-- New talent just added to the line up at Artcomedy 2009! Headliner Dana Carvey will be joined by Larry “Bubbles” Brown, Jann Karan, Dan St. Paul and a special “Mystery Guest” to perform at The Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco on Friday, May 15, 2009 in a benefit for Marin’s Oak Hill School and the Ryder Foundation, hosted by Mark Pitta.
Artcomedy begins with a gourmet cocktail reception featuring fine wines, festive cocktails and delectable delights from several Bay Area eateries. A special exhibition from artist Mark Carvey’s latest series, The Music in Paint will be the backdrop for a grand reception that includes a fine wine silent auction and select pieces from Mark Carvey’s latest series. There will also be a raffle for a Liebherr 143 Bottle, 3 zone wine storage cabinet filled with over ten cases of great wine (valued at over $7000!). The evening continues with the hilarious antics of comedic superstar Dana Carvey joined by his San Francisco Comedy All-Star friends in a stand-up comedy show hosted by legendary laugh-maker Mark Pitta, followed by a dessert reception.
Proceeds and ticket sales benefit the Oak Hill School and the Ryder Foundation, two organizations dedicated to helping children with autism and other learning challenges.
