Tax Time Crunch Time

Las Vegas, NV, April 03, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Mckenzie Tax Corporation has launched it's company website just in time for the April 15th deadline. Geared toward small business services, MTC worked with Pound 4 Pound Design to develop the site.

"We have seen a huge response to the website launched last week, and business has increased over last year", stated Jaymes Mckenzie, owner of Mckenzie Tax Corporation.

When asked why he thought the increase has come in a rough economy Mckenzie replied, "The last thing a small business needs in this environment is penalties from late returns, or inefficient filings. We worked with Pound 4 Pound Design to develop something user friendly and representative of what we do on a daily basis, which is simplify the process of income tax filings, and maximize our client's returns."

Pound 4 Pound Design project manager Michael Vaughan agreed. "Up against the dreaded 15th deadline ourselves to complete the project, gave us a sense of what we needed to convey to the users of the site", stated Vaughan. "We had the idea of throwing in a countdown to the 15th at midnight when your return should be post-marked, to encourage the procrastinators out there to get on the ball and get to MTC. Just a little nudge in the right direction".

Pound 4 Pound Design and Mckenzie Tax Corporation have also discussed a plan to expand the site and create a "one-stop-shop" for small businesses to solve all of their accounting needs as well as advertising needs including print media, and online advertising. "Our goal is to simplify tasks for small businesses, which I believe to be the life-blood of the US economy", stated Mckenzie. "These are tough times, and we should know.", Vaughan followed up, "We should know-- because we are two of those small businesses."
