Inverudio Inc. Has Published the First Forum with a Graph Structure. Graph Structure Provides More Flexibility in Online Discussions Than Commonly Used Tree Structure.

Linear and hierarchical tree like structures of current online discussion boards and forums are present since the birth of the World Wide Web. However, is it the best structure in which to frame an online discussion?

Chicago, IL, April 03, 2009 --(PR.com)-- All Internet discussion forums have a hierarchical tree structure. Each forum has topics, replies on topics, and replies on replies. Ideas are separated into categories, Most ideas are attributed to sources or their authors. This has worked well for over a decade, but can we do better?

A new Internet Forum with a graph structure was created two years ago. After extensive testing, Inverudio Inc is happy to announce it to the public.

www.explore-ideas.com forum has several unique features, graph structure being only one of them. Any two ideas can be connected which enables discussions where existing ideas from different topics and categories can be merged (and re-used). Categorization of ideas is artificial product of the human mind. In reality, psychology can be connected with mathematics, biology with history, science with politics.

Possible uses of this new forum structure are: brainstorming, creative writing, etc.

Anonymity is another crucial part of the forum. It helps reader to consider each idea with equal attention, regardless where or whom it comes from. Anonymity also discourages (or at least does not encourage) uncivil behavior, and personal attachment to ideas.
