Damp Proofing Training from Property Trade Body
Damp proofing training has just gotten better from Property Trade Body - PCA (Property Care Association)
Glasgow, United Kingdom, April 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Damp proofing training and a range of other industry courses have been given a boost with the opening of a new dedicated training centre by the Property Care Association (PCA).
Based at the headquarters of the PCA, the new centre will serve the needs of training in damp proofing, as well as courses such as the specialist Certificated Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing (CSSW) and the Certificated Surveyor in Remedial Treatment (CSRT).
Other courses, such as timber resin repair training, cavity wall tie repairs training and condensation training are also undertaken, along with damp proof training.
The new training complex has been created at the Association's Lakeview Court offices on the Ermine Business Park, Huntingdon.
Each year, the Property Care Association (PCA) trains hundreds of people from property professionals to DIY enthusiasts.
PCA training is a key role of the trade body and underpins its reputation as a major educational provider. The association had previously hired facilities for training courses.
The PCA's Training Prospectus, detailing all courses, was launched in late 2008.
Les Meikle - Wise Property Care Les Meikle, a member of the PCA and managing director of Wise Property Care said: "The PCA is recognised across the UK for its technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of the building preservation sector.
"That reputation is built upon the Association's well-established training programme. The new dedicated training centre will enable allow the PCA to develop an already extensive training programme even further."
Damp proofing and other training can also be delivered at clients' own premises as an alternative to travelling to the Huntingdon centre. The PCA is also happy to make the training suite available for hire to other training providers.
It is not necessary to be a member of the PCA to access all courses. Staff from a wide range of organisations have benefited from PCA courses including estate agents, architects, social housing managers and surveyors.Speak to a damp Proofing expert, call Wise Property Care today.
