Improvements Continue at Mexico’s Newest All-Inclusive Pacific Coast Hotel Brand
Tesoro Manzanillo and Tesoro Los Cabos welcome water features, room upgrades and new facilities.
Manzanillo, Mexico, July 21, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Ongoing renovations at Tesoro Resorts translate to more fun and convenience for vacationers. As part of the all inclusive hotel chain’s commitment to rebrand its three Pacific Coast properties, Tesoro Manzanillo and Tesoro Los Cabos are continuing extensive renovations with the revamping of Tesoro Manzanillo’s kids club and development of a spectacular waterpark, which began in mid-July, and will conclude in 2007 with a hip rooftop bar, lounge and swimming pool at Tesoro Los Cabos.
The new Corsarios Mini Club replaces two tennis courts and debuts in late October at Tesoro Manzanillo, just in time for the busy fall and winter travel season. (The name corsario refers to brigadiers of the sea that are akin to pirates.) Premier installations include a thatched roof open-air lunch area for kids, giant sandbox, tree house with supervised games and activities, a camping area, separate rest rooms and a wet ’n’ wild adventure waterpark, sure to induce a tidal wave of smiles with its waterslides, playful fountains and shallow wading areas for tots.
Remodeling of the Mexican specialty restaurant Adobe and Agave Tequila Cantina is also underway at Tesoro Manzanillo and will be complete by late August. The 311-square meter space will be transformed into a traditional hacienda dining room with ceramic tile floor, handmade leather equipal furniture, and plenty of warm, wood finishing that creates an intimate and conversational atmosphere.
“The changes are part of a US$10 million pledge we made to improve facilities at our Manzanillo and Los Cabos properties, offering guests a more dynamic experience and, ultimately, an even more enjoyable vacation,” explains Wayne Merritt, Tesoro Resorts’ vice president of operations.
Tesoro Los Cabos has already entered the third phase of “room rehab” on its 286 rooms and suites. By late April 2007, a second pool area called SkyBeach with pillow-strewn day beds will be complete, and VIP bar service from the chic, new SkyLounge and a rooftop specialty restaurant, Mi Cielo, will follow not long after.
To keep the public abreast of all the exciting changes at their hotels, Tesoro Resorts has also launched a bilingual interactive website designed to meet the needs of guests, travel agents, media representatives and wholesalers seeking information on their three beach destinations under one comprehensive roof. The new website features virtual tours, photo galleries and interactive maps of each of the Tesoro Resorts properties in Los Cabos, Manzanillo and Ixtapa, as well as kid-oriented games and activities.
