2010 RX 350 Available for Pre-Order at Lexus of Peoria
Peoria Lexus Dealership encourages Lexus enthusiasts to reserve their new 2010 Lexus RX 350 as soon as possible to avoid waiting.
Peoria, IL, April 05, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Due to excitement surrounding the new 2010 Lexus RX, Lexus of Peoria has begun offering its customers a chance to reserve a 2010 RX 350 before they even arrive to Peoria Toyota, the premier Lexus dealership in Central Illinois.
The 2010 RX 350 is at the larger end of the two-row crossover class and will feature a base price will be $3,000 less than the 2009 version, even with new standard equipment. Adding to the savings, Lexus of Peoria is offering two years of scheduled maintenance for no additional cost when a customer reserves one.
While the overall styling of the RX 350 has not changed extremely, in the reinvented Lexus RX, the impressive list of new technological features has proved appealing to buyers. The new RX offers an innovative Heads-up Display that can project your speed and turn-by-turn navigation directions directly on the windshield, giving the driver the ability to keep his or her eyes focused on the road. The new RX also features multifunction steering-wheel controls that enable the driver to control audio, phone and more while keeping both hands on the wheel.
The 2010 Lexus RX has an updated drivetrain. The RX 350 boasts a 3.5-liter V-6 with 275 horsepower, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and a choice of front- or all-wheel drive. The new transmission, with its extra forward gear, also has a sport-shift mode. Thanks to a new "eco driving" light, the 2010 RX 350 can achieve 124 mpg on the highway.
Also new is the RX 350's rear suspension, which accounts for one of the most key upgrades: about 5 percent more cargo room behind the second-row seats. The cargo area is more smartly shaped, and the two rows of seats still provide plenty for passenger space.
There are 10 airbags in present in the 2010 RX 350, including curtain airbags and side airbags for the rear seats. Standard anti-lock brakes come standard, as does stability and traction control on all models. Optional safety equipment includes: a dynamic-handling system that weaves together traction and stability control; a Pre-Collision System that uses radar sensors to detect a possible impact in the front, then readies the brakes and seatbelts for an imminent crash; adaptive lighting; and automatic high beams.
Standard equipment includes a CD player, Bluetooth connectivity, dual-zone climate control, and 10-way power front seats. Other options include leather seating, a side-view monitor, USB connectivity for MP3 players, a Mark Levinson sound system, a hard-drive navigation system, XMNavTraffic, a rear-seat entertainment system, ventilated front seats, remote start, and a sport-minded suspension.
After test driving the 2010 RX350, Car and Driver said, “The RX was refined, easy to live with, and seemingly engineered to relax the driver in a way that escapes most crossover utility vehicles.”
According to Lexus of Peoria, only a few of their initial planned inventory of 2010 RX’s remain unreserved. The Peoria Lexus dealership said car buyers interested in a Peoria RX 350 may reserve one by visiting their Peoria Lexus dealership at the corner of Allen Road and Willow Knolls Road in Peoria.
