Baskets-n-Beyond Gets Exclusvie Basket Deal with Author

Dumont, NJ, April 05, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Michele A. Petrillo owner of Baskets-n-Beyond 39 W. Madison Ave Dumont NJ and Author Susan McCorkindale formerly of Ridgewood NJ seal a deal to create counterfeit farm girl gift baskets.

Ms Petrillo & Ms McCorkindale went to Ridgefield Memorial High School together and have not spoken to each other in over 25 years. A few months ago they reconnected on the popular social website Facebook. They came up with the idea of promoting Confessions of a Counterfeit Farm Girl in gift baskets.

The new gift basket created by Baskets-n-Beyond is centered around Susan McCorkindale’s hilarious memoir, Confessions of a Counterfeit Farm Girl - the true tale of how a city girl learned the hard way that Manolos and manure just don’t mix - The new Counterfeit Farm Girl gift basket delivers laughs and a whole lot more.

The centerpiece of the basket is a signed copy of Confessions of a Counterfeit Farm Girl by Author Susan McCorkindale and is bursting with cow-shaped cookies, a cow-themed book mark, a tin of UDDERLY delicious candies, MOOlious butter toffee, and Cowtales vanilla candy, this fun basket also boasts a cow-shaped magnet, soap, bath gel and soap dispenser. Ms Petrillo and Ms McCorkindale have also teamed up for a book signing/fundraiser on April 7, 2009 at Smith Brother's Restaurant in Ridgewood. In honor of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, a portion of all the evening's book sales, as well as sales of Counterfeit Farm Girl gift baskets designed by Baskets-n-Beyond, will be donated to Children's Aid and Family Services of Paramus NJ. Ms Petrillo & Ms McCorkindale are asking all attendees to bring an item-such as diapers, baby food, baby clothes or toys to donate to Children's Aid and Family Services. Please join them from 6pm-9pm for some laughs and to help the children. There will be a raffle and musicial guest is Mark Nelson Preston who wrote a song for the evening called "Every Child Deserves a Chance". Music starts at 9pm.
