The Voice Magazine Seeks Citizen Journalists for TEA Party Coverage
International Christian magazine looks for patriots to offer reports, photos and videos from rallies across the nation as part of its coverage of this historic event.
Hallandale Beach, FL, April 07, 2009 --(PR.com)-- On April 15, American patriots will make their voice heard in more than 1,500 cities across the nation through Taxed Enough Already (TEA) party rallies that protest the runaway spending by President Obama and Congress. But will the drive-by media cover this historic event as headline news? Or will it get buried on page 15?
The Voice magazine, an international magazine that seeks to advance Christian life and culture, is recruiting Citizen Journalists to cover TEA parties across the United States. April 15, 2009 will go down in history as the day Americans from all walks of life gathered together for a common cause: to take our country back. The Voice magazine recognizes the significance of what could be a turning point in our nation’s history and seeks to document it from all angles.
“I’m concerned about the trillions of dollars of debt we’re leaving to our grandchildren and great grandchildren,” said Jonas Clark, publisher of The Voice magazine. “We can put an end to this spending movement if we unite as one voice and send a message to Capitol Hill. April 15, tax filing day, is a great opportunity – and we need Citizen Journalists to bring us the news from ground zero.”
The Voice magazine suggests people who are planning to attend TEA Parties take a pen and paper, a digital camera, or a video camera and document this historic event, then send it to the magazine. This new American Revolution must be documented, and the mainstream media cannot be relied on to offer the whole story. Citizen Journalists with paper, pen and cameras in hand can offer unique perspectives on TEA party rallies from sea to shining sea.
The Voice magazine invites Citizen Journalists to let the editorial staff know if they are going to be sending in reports so they can prepare its coast-to-coast coverage. E-mail TEAParty@thevoicemagazine.com or visit http://www.thevoicemagazine.com/tea-party.html to find a TEA Party near you, or learn how to organize one.
