Saville Interactive Technology for Lancashire Cardiac Centre

Nether Poppleton, United Kingdom, April 06, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Leading AV integrator Saville Audio Visual has designed and installed a bespoke camera and audio system in the operating theatre at the hospital which enables the surgeon to relay video and speech direct to the lecture theatre and receive questions via the Beyer in-ear monitoring system. The pictures and sound are distributed to three teaching rooms by an Endeleo hub system, using the hospital’s existing CAT5 wiring infrastructure.

In the main lecture theatre, Saville has installed two Sanyo PLC-X86 projectors for side-by-side image comparisons on a 4-metre wide custom built screen. Control of all the system components and room settings is provided using a Saville Intellect controller with an AMX Modero touch panel.
