Qualtrax Customer Receives Quality Magazine’s 2009 Plant of the Year Award
Christiansburg, VA, April 09, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Qualtrax, Inc. is proud to announce that one of its software customers, Personna American Safety Razor (ASR - Knoxville, TN), was recently announced the winner of Quality Magazine’s 2009 Plant of the Year Award in the small plant (less than 250 employees) division. Quality Magazine recognizes two plants each year for excellence in manufacturing quality with a feature article and an awards presentation at the annual Quality Measurement Conference. ASR will accept its award alongside Lockheed Martin MS2 Tactical Systems-Clearwater Operations (large plant winner) on May 5th at the Caribe Royale hotel in Orlando, FL.
Qualtrax nominated ASR for the Quality Plant award after interviewing Melissa Bailey, Manufacturing Quality Engineer, for a customer success story. “ASR’s use of Qualtrax compliance software is impressive. After hearing from Melissa how it has helped them implement some of their quality improvement efforts, we knew they were very deserving of this award,” says Steve Miko, Director of Qualtrax.
Qualtrax takes pride in the success of its customers and maintains working relationships with them through maintenance and support contracts and annual user conferences. “We are so happy for ASR and this wonderful accomplishment,” says Mr. Miko.
