Emerging Writer Publishes First Book After Seven Years of Good Luck

Perth, Australia, April 09, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Australian author Danica-Lea Larcombe spent ten months writing a diary whilst backpacking solo around the world, and has finally published her travel narrative seven years later on Lulu.com, the online marketplace for digital content.

Danica-Lea Larcombe, who at the time was a thirty-five year old mother of two teenagers, bought an around-the-world airline ticket, and with limited money she took the plunge into the unknown to see if she could survive travelling on her own for that length of time.

Author Carol Townsend (Caribbean Capers and Tropical Tantrums!), comments “narrating ten months of travel is a huge task, and Danica has been both very brave and meticulous in recording the sights, sounds and facts of the places she visited”.

Backpacking through fifteen countries, Danica finds herself experiencing all of the highs and lows of travelling including being chauffeured through India, sleeping in airports, running out of money, meeting funny characters, magical moments, and learning the skills of survival.

Ms Larcombe says: “I hand wrote three huge diaries whilst travelling seven years ago, which was a dream in itself, but now another dream has come true – I am proud to be a published author.

The book is titled Pushing the Boundaries: A Mission to See the World, has 310 pages and can be found at http://stores.lulu.com/store.php?fAcctID=3620215
