New Restaurants Join Palm Springs Restaurant Week
Over 100 restaurants expected to participate in valley-wide culinary event, May 31-June 19. Palm Springs Restaurant Week website has the full list of participating restaurants along with their menus. Local hotels have put together special rates.
Palm Springs, CA, April 11, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Over 60 restaurants have already signed up to participate in the 2009 Palm Springs Desert Resorts Restaurant Week. The valley wide Restaurant Week takes place in two back-to-back time frames spanning 10 days each, so patrons can enjoy 20 days of delicious dining in the desert.
The first 10 days, Sunday, May 31 – Tuesday, June 9, will feature the restaurants in Palm Springs, Desert Hot Springs, Cathedral City and Rancho Mirage.
From Wednesday, June 10 - Friday, June 19, diners can enjoy participating restaurants in Palm Desert, Indian Wells, La Quinta and Indio.
The Palm Springs Desert Resorts Restaurant Association (PSDRRA), organizers of Restaurant Week, expects more than 100 restaurants to take part in this first-ever culinary event.
“We are thrilled with the response that we are getting from restaurants throughout the desert,” said Juliana Copley, President of PSDRRA and owner of Copley’s on Palm Canyon. “Restaurant Week is great for both the consumer and the restaurateur as it stimulates diners to eat out and also gives a boost to our economy during a traditionally slower period of time for us in the desert.”
During Palm Springs Restaurant Week diners will enjoy a three-course prix fixe menu for $24 or $36, depending on the restaurant. It's a spectacular exhibition of the region’s finest culinary talents and a chance for you to try all of the wonderful restaurants in the desert.
Each participating restaurant will create their own unique menu to be offered only during Restaurant Week. The specially priced menu will include a choice of appetizer, entrée and desert. Restaurants and their menus are listed on the website.
