Untitled 11:11 Supports Local Community
Untitled 11:11 to participate in local fashion show. Proceeds will go to benefit a local charity.
Brooklyn, NY, April 11, 2009 --(PR.com)-- This Friday evening the luxury line Untitled 11:11 will be a part of Brooklyn Fashion Weekend by participating in a group fashion show at the local hot spot Deity. Organized by Deity’s owner Kristine Dunson, the show will feature the talents of area designers and shops. Doors open at 9pm.
Untitled will be showing a mix of their spring and fall collections. “We wanted to really mix it up and reflect the unique style of our neighborhood,” the designers said when asked how they would be presenting their line. “It’s a great opportunity to show how versatile the collection can be, and to support the local community.”
Proceeds from the show will go to benefit CAMBA. CAMBA is a non-profit agency that provides services that connect people with opportunities to enhance their quality of life.
Untitled 11:11 is the combined effort of David Peck and Laurel Anderson. The line mixes European high fashion influences and American sensibilities with a healthy dose of humor. The debut collection was shown this past September in New York.
David and Laurel are committed to adhering to ethical and environmentally responsible business practices. They are passionate about manufacturing close to the source and using Fair-Trade, eco-friendly, and American products whenever possible. David and Laurel’s zeal for “green practices” in their work stems from a desire to integrate these values into their own lives and offer the benefits to their customers through their designs.
David and Laurel met in Paris while attending Parsons-Paris School of Art and Design, where they both majored in fashion design and gained experience at fashion houses such as Junichi Hakamaki and Paco Rabanne, under Patrick Robinson, and Kai Kühne.
