Local Author and Investigative Reporter to be Featured Speaker at Business Club Meeting

Raleigh, NC, April 12, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Amanda Lamb, author and investigative reporter, will speak at the April 17 Business Club of the Triangle (BCA Triangle) breakfast meeting. The event will be sponsored by Johnson Automotive and held at the clubhouse of Brier Creek Country Club in Raleigh.
Lamb is a veteran crime reporter for WRAL-TV in Raleigh and currently writes a regular online column, “Dispatches from a Reporter’s Notebook.” She has established herself as the go-to reporter for networks seeking credible feedback and interviews on high-profile murder cases in the southeast. She makes regular appearances on FOX News, CNN, truTV, and the Oxygen network.

Amanda writes in two completely different genres: one about her life at home, and one that mirrors the life of a hard news reporter. A native of Philadelphia, she now makes her home in North Carolina with her husband and two little girls. Amanda graduated with degrees in English and psychology from Duke University and obtained her masters degree in journalism from Northwestern University.
