LEEDTeacher Names Michelle Cottrell as Vice President to Guide National Expansion
Belmar, NJ, April 13, 2009 --(PR.com)-- LEEDTeacher, a national provider of Sustainable Design / LEED® (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) seminars and educational support services, today announced the appointment of Michelle Cottrell as Vice President and shareholder. This new position was created for Ms. Cottrell, as LEEDTeacher continues national expansion of its green-facing educational services. Ms. Cottrell will utilize offices in Miami, Belmar NJ, and NYC.
Ms. Cottrell, 33, brings broad business management experience to her new role, having presided as President of Design Management Services Inc., a NJ-based provider of LEED® Consulting services, Commercial Project Management, Interior Design, and Green Building Certification-process management services for clients such as Bank of America, Wyndham Hotels and Miami’s American Airlines Arena. Ms. Cottrell sits on the Board of Directors of NJ Chapter of the USGBC (United States Green Building Counsel), is a LEED® Accredited Professional (AP), a licensed Interior Designer, and has received acclaim as Real Estate New Jersey Magazine’s “Women Of Influence 2008” and The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce Top 100 Minority Business Awards, as a consecutive recipient since 2006 (to be published).
