National Aesthetic Spa Network for Spa Professionals Gather to Learn, Grow and Network
West Palm Beach, FL, April 14, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Skin care and spa professionals had the opportunity to listen and learn from industry giants such as Janet McCormick, Cidesco Diplomat, Linda Rae, and Jesse Cormier,
January 12th 2009 at the National Aesthetic Spa Network event in West Palm Beach, Florida. Host of the NASN event, Anton Aesthetic Academy, owner, Ida Antoniou, was delightfully surprised that she had to order more chairs and food for the attendees as the response was overwhelming with 125 professionals attending. The day was filled with enthusiasm, networking and encouraging words. Everyone who attended received a stuffed gift bag filled with great samples and new knowledge. A few lucky attendees won wonderful door prizes such as a $500.00 gift certificate from Visual Changes Skin Care Company.
The National Aesthetic Spa Network chapters offer complimentary education in a vendor neutral environment. Spa professionals are gathering to learn, grow and network all over the United States. NASN has state chapters in Arizona, California, Florida, Texas, Virginia and the Mid-West. Each year the events grow larger and better. Denise R. Fuller, Founder of NASN comments that the response from vendors has been wonderful. These partnerships with schools, magazines, skin care, insurance and equipment companies have been very valuable in creating a forum where owners and therapist learn and develop relationships from each other. For example, Lindsay Johns, esthetician and representative from Wellness Image has been a long time supporter of NASN, Florida and remarks that she has learned from each event but also developed some key accounts because of the NASN events. The NASN attendees and coordinators all agree that the support of the spa companies has been a very valuable tool in reaching the spa professionals and creating a stronger spa community. A huge thank you to all the vendors who participated in the January NASN events: Associated Skin Care Professionals, Therapies spa products, Glymed Skin Care, Wellness Image, Jane Iridale, The Real World of Esthetics, www.medinail.com, Osmosis Skin Care, Suzi Q Cosmetics, Les Nouvelles Esthetiques and Spa magazine, Vivant, Bielle Cosmetics, From Nature With Love, www.spabizboard.com, Pencil Me In Cosmetics, Visual Changes Skin Care, Tassi, Young Nails, Scandle Candle, Real Body Work, Aesthetic Institute of St. Louis, Anton Aesthetic Academy, Gigi Wax, Glo Minerals, Rx System, Label Impressions, Le Mieux, and Skin Inc magazine.
