Ladies Who Launch Celebrates One Year in West Chester
Local small business women will continue to reap the benefits of incubating in 2009.
West Chester, PA, April 14, 2009 --(PR.com)-- In April, Ladies Who Launch celebrates one year in the Chester County area. During its inaugural year, Ladies Who Launch helped over 100 women grow their businesses through workshops, programs and networking.
Ladies Who Launch, brought to West Chester by Incubator Leader Megan L. Reese of West Grove, takes typical networking a step further through its Incubator Intensive Workshop. Unlike typical business card exchanges, the Incubator Intensive Workshop is a program that focuses on what each individual woman needs in order to move forward with her business.
“According to the Center for Women’s Business Research, women are launching businesses at nearly three times the rate of men,” Reese says. “Ladies Who Launch is the first brand to acknowledge that women launch differently than men. We start our businesses for lifestyle reasons and grow them more organically. The Incubator is based on this concept.”
Beth Strange, owner of Your Image Works in Oxford, realized a 400% growth in her client base after completing the first Incubator Intensive Workshop in 2008. Beth continues to encourage women to experience the workshop, as well as become part of the monthly membership called STRATA.
“Through Ladies Who Launch, I’ve been able to grow my business in ways I never could if I hadn’t been part of the Incubator,” Strange says. “I’m now part of a local group of amazing women with a unique perspective on launching, as well as a supportive online community.”
In addition to the local in person community, Ladies Who Launch offers an online community of over 60,000 women that provides tools, resources, social networking and PR opportunities designed to continue the momentum gained during the workshop.
