Ohio Valley University Launches Online Courses in the School of Professional Studies
The Ohio Valley University School of Professional Studies is now offering online courses for an adult degree-completion program.
Vienna, WV, April 15, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Ohio Valley University (OVU) School of Professional Studies (SPS) is launching online courses for its adult degree-completion program. Formally known as the Institute for Adult Learning, the SPS has decided to offer courses for its existing Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management in an online format.
To help develop its online courses, in late 2008, OVU partnered with The Learning House, Inc. (TLH), a comprehensive online education solutions partner located in Louisville, KY. This partnership enables OVU to fulfill its online needs successfully without sacrificing its on-campus resources. Together, OVU and TLH are working to create a customized online learning environment for the School of Professional Studies to integrate online courses smoothly into the current curriculum.
The online offerings of the business program, which will launch in May 2009, are designed for working adults with prior college credit but no bachelor degree. Students will develop highly marketable skills in areas such as communication, group behavior, decision-making, human resource management and ethics. They also will gain a better understanding of organizational management and leadership.
This added online learning opportunity at Ohio Valley University gives adult learners increased flexibility for completing their education.
