HPG Partner Beth Traynham Joins Wake Community Foundation Board

Beth Traynham, partner with HPG, is now a member of the Wake Community Foundation’s board of directors. In this role, she will help guide the foundation in its mission to inspire North Carolinians to make lasting and meaningful contributions in their respective communities.

Raleigh, NC, April 15, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Beth Traynham, partner with Hughes Pittman & Gupton, LLP (www.hpg.com), the largest locally owned and managed, independent CPA firm in North Carolina, is joining the Wake County Community Foundation's board of directors.

In her new role, Traynham will partner with area business leaders to guide the foundation in its mission to inspire North Carolinians to make lasting and meaningful contributions in their respective communities.

Traynham is a veteran CPA with areas of concentration including corporate and individual tax, trusts, and estate and retirement planning. Her practice covers many service-based businesses, notably venture capital, real estate and healthcare providers. Traynham joined HPG in 1993, and was named partner in 1999. Identifying a need in the community, she also spearheaded adding two unique client offerings in 2008—family office services and divorce planning/litigation support. Actively involved in non-profit and professional associations, Traynham is currently a board member at IntraHealth International, serving on finance and governance committees. Traynham also serves as treasurer and board member of the N.C. Triangle Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. As a founding member of Triangle Commercial Real Estate Women, she is the recipient of the Best Professional Service Champion Award. In 2008, she received the Triangle Business Journal's Top 25 Women in Business Award.
