Equinix Appoints Clement Goh as Singapore Managing Director
Former Datastream Sales and Marketing Director brings strong background to data centre and exchange services leader.

(Nasdaq: EQIX), the leading provider of network-neutral data centres and Internet exchange services, today announced that Clement Goh has been appointed as Managing Director of Equinix Singapore. He is to replace Lee Yoong Kin and will report directly to Samuel Lee, Vice President of Equinix Asia Pacific.
As the Managing Director, Goh will be responsible for the overall performance of the Singapore IBX centre. This includes increasing local and regional market share, profitability and operational efficiency. Goh will also identify, develop and direct the implementation of local business strategy while ensuring that it is in line with the regional and global strategy. He will also oversee planning and direction of the organization’s activities to achieve stated targets and standards for financial performance, service quality and corporate culture.

Goh has held a number of key positions in global technology multi-national companies, and he has been instrumental in ensuring the rapid expansion of the companies that he has served in. He was most recently Datastream’s Senior Sales & Marketing Director in Asia Pacific, where he drove a growth rate of 74% in revenue for their flagship product, and improved the division margin by 34%. Prior to Datastream, Goh was McDATA’s Field Program Director in Asia Pacific, where he drove business development in the region while strengthening relationships with technology giants EMC and Dell. Goh has also held leading positions at EMC Singapore, Oracle Systems Singapore and Agilent Technologies.
Goh holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical & Electronics from the National University of Singapore. The awards that Goh has received included the Best Sales Team 2005 from Datastream, Best OEM Manager 2004 and Best OEM Team 2004 from McDATA, Top District Manager 2001 and Club of Excellence 2002 from EMC.
