Fashion Show and Workshop Sparks New Direction for The Jewellery Gallery
Jewellery Gallery announces workshops for women "We want to hold more workshops of this kind and perhaps even an entire weekend devoted to proving to women that they can be and feel beautiful, confident and shine at any age."
Noosa Heads, Australia, May 18, 2009 --(PR.com)-- After the incredible success of last weeks fashion show and workshop at the Jewellery Gallery this reporter has been informed by Julie Carrington, part owner of the Gallery that she and her partner Lea are over-joyed to announce a new direction for The Jewellery Gallery. Julie stated, "The show was such a buzz and we heard comments from our guests over and over again all week, which gave us a wonderful idea. We want to hold more workshops of this kind and perhaps even an entire weekend devoted to proving to women that they can be and feel beautiful, confident and shine at any age."
"After some really long nights we are putting together our first weekend workshop and inviting a few select ladies to attend to first and foremost experience some of the ideas we have put together and critique this first weekend workshop and help us make it even better." Julie went on to explain that this would be the first in a line of regular workshops with guest speakers and facilitators featuring great fashion, makeup techniques, new hair styles and of course using bold, beautiful jewellery and accessories to enhance any and every outfit from a black T shirt and jeans to an evening outfit.
Julie states that she and her partner Lea have come to realise that women might be more confident in business now, but they are still lacking in confidence and self esteem when it comes to their beauty. They choose to believe that all women are beautiful without hiding their lines, their muffin-tops or their age. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and the girls believe that if they can teach women to behold themselves as beautious right through their whole lives from maiden to crone they feel they will have accomplished an act of great significance on this earth. Lea and Julie told of the history of women and how once all women were seen as sacred bringers of life and held in respect right into old age, sought after for their wisdom and treated as such no matter what their age.
The girls would like to see a return to that kind of thinking, we are so enamoured of youth when it is only with experience and age that any person can really be respected. Let's remember that with age comes wisdom and that wisdom can be utilised and respected instead of disregarded and people over a certain age seen as useless. Julie stated that this is their new mission, not to just market gorgeous jewellery, but to market confidence, self esteem and a new regard for women's eternal beauty. What a grand mission.
The first of these workshops is set to be held on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Australia in the next few months, for more information please contact the owners.
