Roto-Rooter Seeks Submissions for Upcoming Book
Roto-Rooter on the Lookout for Strange, Weird and True Plumbing Tales.
Cincinnati, OH, April 17, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Top plumbing and drain cleaning service provider Roto-Rooter is looking for the strangest, wackiest, scariest and just downright oddest plumbing stories for their new bathroom reader. The book, designed to be a quirky, vignette style quick read will include commentary from Ghost Hunters stars Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson – real life Roto-Rooter plumbers – along with some practical plumbing advice and utterly useless trivial knowledge that will impress your friends.
Entries from the general public are welcomed and can be submitted at www.ChillyTales.com. So, if you ever thought your house was haunted, but it was just the pipes, or an alligator bit you on the bum while you were doing your daily constitutions Roto-Rooter wants to know about it. The best of the best will be published in the new book.
“Chilling Tales from the Porcelain Seat takes a lighthearted approach to plumbing issues that may sound strange, but are seen by Roto-Rooter professionals almost every day,” Roto-Rooter spokesman Paul Abrams said. “Ghost Hunters stars Jason Hawes, Grant Wilson and other Roto-Rooter plumbers will address and solve some pretty frightening, but often funny, plumbing situations.”
Abrams adds that “many viewers forget that Jason and Grant are Roto-Rooter service technicians in addition to paranormal investigating celebrities.”
Chilling Tales from the Porcelain Seat is expected to be available for sale online mid-summer 2009. More information about the project and story submissions can be found online. Deadline for submissions is May 10, 2009.
