E. Randolph, VT, April 18, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Arlene Disbrow, inventor of the Point To Communicate system spoke with VermontTV.net about her booklets with Bill Heyman, owner of VermontTV. When asked what prompted her to invent such a system, she replied, "I was responding to my father's need. He had Parkinson’s and Lyme diseases and could not speak. While he was ill, I managed a team of caregivers and professionals that worked for a special needs child for many years. I was using my system for the child and it seemed like a perfect answer to my father's situation.

After he passed away, I realized that this system could help so many people, and that's when I began this journey to patent my system. I presently have three booklets specifically designed for each of the following environments: Hospitals, Home Health, and Nursing Homes. Those who are using these booklets are very happy to be able to communicate, even if they don't speak English or cannot read."
