Diaz & Cooper Proves Its Mettle with 3 (More) Addy Awards 1 Gold & 2 Silver Awards Establish Local Agency's Excellence and Results

Miami, FL, April 18, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Among glittering ice sculptures and specialty drinks Miami's top agencies gathered to celebrate the year's best creative efforts. On February 26, the Advertising Federation of Greater Miami presented its prestigious ADDY awards at a gala event held at eVenue, Miami's newest hotspot featuring a frosty ice lounge.

In what is becoming a routine accomplishment, Miami-based agency Diaz & Cooper Advertising received three ADDY Awards, including a gold in the hotly-contested collateral category. This is the third year in a row that the local agency brings home the gold.

Diaz & Cooper's "Holiday Collection 2008 Brochure" was recognized with a gold ADDY in the Collateral Material category. Produced for Regent Seven Seas Cruises, its pages are resplendent with alluring images of luxury travel destinations, contained within a cover that glows with a smooth luster.

"We really wanted this piece to shine," says Todd Cooper, VP Creative Director, whose direction enhanced the brochure's aesthetic. "Our design choices stem naturally from the creative atmosphere we cultivate and can be seen as a testament to our collaborative teamwork. The firm also picked up a silver ADDY for "Voyages to Explore," its quarterly magazine publication for Regent Seven Seas Cruises. Boasting a clean new design, this piece features captivating, original articles, written by DCA staff, that carry the reader to exotic shorelines.

The agency also made waves in the Consumer/Trade Publication category with their "Ripple Effect" for Smithgroup Architecture, which won a Silver ADDY for its elegant juxtaposition of flowing water and blueprints. This piece is the second award-winner for DCA's green campaign which promotes Smithgroup's environmental responsibility in a clear and thoughtful way, emphasizing the importance of sustainable design while recognizing the effect our decisions will have on future generations.
