Canadian Company’s Workplace Safety Video Notches Seventh Award

Calgary, Canada, April 18, 2009 --(PR.com)-- A Canadian company's 45-minute best-selling video on workplace safety has notched its seventh award for excellence in industry-wide competition. Danatec Educational Services Ltd's Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) "Tell Me Your Story" features six fast-paced real life episodes that deliver an up-to-date and versatile case for safety on the job. The survivors themselves explain what happened in each graphic case and how serious injuries, or even deaths, would have been prevented if basic WHMIS principles had been applied.

The result is a sharply-focused training video and entire suite of WHMIS training products that not only motivate employees to become aware of the reality of dangers but also encourage them to ask the right questions and put this positive and practical information into everyday use at work. WHMIS – “Tell Me Your Story” is the centerpiece of Danatec's high-energy suite of WHMIS products – handbooks, self-teach training programs, online training, instructor’s manuals, posters and video – that won the prestigious Canadian Society of Training and Development (CSTD) Gold WOW Award honouring innovative learning products and programs this past fall.
