Coral Springs, FL, April 18, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Parklander Magazine is searching for the best local carrot cake. Submit your recipe to editor@theparklander.com.

The staff will choose the contenders.

You will bake your cake.

The panel of tasters will select the carrot cake champion.

The winner will be the star baker for the month, with your photo and winning recipe appearing in the August issue of the Parklander. The winner will also take home a basket of goods and gift certificates worth at least $100.

Contest is open to residents of Parkland, Coral Springs, Margate, Coconut Creek, Boca Raton, Pompano Beach, Deerfield Beach and Tamarac.

Deadline is Monday, June 15, 2009
