Integrated Research Services Becomes Finalist in 2009 Association of Educational Publishers Awards Program
Integrated Research Services the non-profit publisher of the journal The Prevention Reseacher is chosen to advance to the final round of the Distinguished Achievement Awards sponsored by the Association of Educational Publishers (AEP).
Eugene, OR, April 18, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Integrated Research Services has been chosen as a finalist in the 2009 Distinguished Achievement Award competition sponsored by the Association of Educational Publishers (AEP). Their journal, The Prevention Researcher, is one of three entries selected to proceed to the final round of judging in the Most Improved category for Adult learning. Other finalists include two publications produced by Mid-continent Research for Education & Learning.
AEP’s awards program recognizes excellence in educational products and education marketing. The Distinguished Achievement Award Periodicals category examines how an educational publication’s editorial content and design combine with the mission of the publication. Within the Periodicals category is the Most Improved group, recognizing progress in the standards and quality of editorial and design elements over time.
Steven Ungerleider Ph.D., Executive Director at Integrated Research Services stated, “It is an honor to have made it through the first round. Award winners will be announced at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. on Friday, June 12 from 6:00-10:00 pm. This black tie-optional event has become the hallmark for excellence in the education industry.
