Golfers Hit Links to Benefit Children's Home

Covington, KY, April 19, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Those who like playing golf and helping children will love this. The 15th Annual Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky Golf Outing is just around the bend, and a few sponsorship and team slots for this May 4th event are still available. The Golf Outing is a great opportunity to have great fun while helping to provide children and families hope and opportunity for better lives.

The Golf Outing will take place at beautiful Summit Hills Country Club in Crestview Hills. Sponsors will receive excellent exposure at the event and recognition in the Children’s Home newsletter. This year’s Title sponsor is again Huntington Bank.

With registration starting at 9:30 a.m. and a shotgun start at 10:30 a.m., players will have a blast competing in the scramble, aiming for hole-in-one and drive jackpots, mixing it up at the cocktail reception, and mingling with many community and business leaders from Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Registration is $600 per foursome or $175 per individual and includes golf, a cart, breakfast, lunch, refreshments on the course, delectable hors d’oeuvres, and an open bar.

All proceeds from the Golf Outing will benefit Children’s Home programs, including residential services for abused and neglected boys as well as intervention and counseling services for struggling families. The Children’s Home served over 1,100 children and family members in 2008.
