Journeykenya.com Has Launched the 'Moto Moto' Explorer Package for an Intimate Getaway to Kenya
Few places in the world offer the raw, spell binding and uninhibited getaway that Kenya does. From the sprawling Savannah to the azure waters of the Indian Ocean, the symphony of landscapes set the perfect scene for an intimate/romantic break.
London, United Kingdom, August 30, 2009 --(PR.com)-- With specially selected luxurious accommodation and an exciting itinerary, the moto moto tour promises to be a romantic adventure in Africa.
Travelers will immerse themselves in an explorer experience, just like the ones captured in travel literature. They will have a chance to sunbathe and engage in water sports along the Kenyan coast as well as going on a Kenyan safari. They will acquire new discoveries through some of Africa's hidden jewels.
The adventure starts with a flight to Samburu Game Reserve located in Kenya’s Northern Frontier District. For the next 2 nights travelers will enjoy the luxurious Samburu Intrepids Camp. Situated on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River in the arid heart of Samburu National Reserve, Samburu Intrepids looks out over riverbanks where herds of elephant, buffalo and zebra come daily to drink – together with the rarer ‘northern species’ of reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx and long-necked gerenuk antelope. Enjoy a game drive in the afternoon following the river. Travelers return to the camp as the sun slowly sets.
Next up is the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The 45 minute flight to Olkiombo Airstrip, leads to a transfer in a 4X4 which could very well be the first game drive. The Maasai Mara is Kenya’s finest game reserve and this will be their home for the next 2 nights in this adventure. Sitting above a sweeping bend in the Talek River, at the confluence of the Maasai Mara's four game-viewing areas, the camp enjoys spectacular views of the Mara ecosystem. An Explorer safari offers a unique game-viewing adventure, including three daily game drives with experienced guides, and trips to Maasai villages where we support several community development projects. With luck predators such as lion, cheetah, hyena and jackal can be spotted on game drives. Lesser-known species such as topi, hartebeest, waterbuck, eland and as well as many small mammals and bird species create a kaleidoscopic picture of wildlife.
Kipungani Explorer is located in the dreamy island of Lamu. Travelers are met at the airport and whisked by speed boat to the lodge, perched on the edge of Kipungani Bay for a desert-island holiday. With only 14 luxurious chalets guests are assured of personal attention, excellent food and, above all, a relaxing stay.
As they say in Kiswahili, the stay is moto moto.
