The Outfitters General Store Announces New Features to Their Website
Swift accessory searches, live help, product specifications, extended warranty plans and owner's manuals are just some of the improvements they have included to their website.
Independence, MO, April 20, 2009 --(PR.com)-- It happens all the time, someone goes out and buys a GPS navigation receiver, fishfinder or chartplotter and some of the accessories they want are not included. The Outfitters General Store has made finding those accessories that were not included easier than ever. Just do a search for the product that was purchased and once on the main product page just click on the Associated Products / Accessories link above the product picture and all the accessories for that particular product will be listed.
They have also added all the manufactures specifications to their product listings. These can be accessed by searching for a product of interest and once on the main product page just click on the specifications link. This page contains what is included in the package and all the product specifications. The Outfitters General Store believes splitting these out from their main product descriptions makes it easier to compare different items when shopping.
Also added was an owner’s manual section. It always seems that the first thing that gets lost when purchasing something is the owner’s manual. The owner’s manuals can be accessed in two different ways. If the product is still in production and still being sold they can be found on the main product page or if the product has been discontinued a new section has been created on their store under “More Info” called “Product Manuals”. These manuals will always be on their site even years after the product is discontinued. These manuals are in pdf format so a pdf reader like Adobe will be required.
Also now available is “Live Help”. If customers need help with any product, all they need to do is select the “Live Help” button and they will be connected with one of the experienced sales staff members who can answer all questions. If help is needed after hours, questions can be asked by selecting the “Live Help” button and an email can be sent with the question that is needing answered and a staff member will respond the next business day.
