Anderson McQueen to Host Grief Conference
St Petersburg, FL, April 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Anderson McQueen Funeral and Cremation Centers is hosting a full day grief conference in St. Petersburg on May 20, 2009, featuring Dr. Alan D. Wolfelt, a noted psychologist and grief counselor. This is the 13th year that Anderson McQueen has provided a grief seminar for Tampa Bay care givers.
The program is designed for members of the care giving community including physicians, nurses, social workers, counselors, educators, psychologists, Hospice personnel, clergy and others caring for bereaved people. This year, Dr. Wolfelt will explore a variety of topics related to understanding and supporting survivors of unexpected death, including suicide, homicide and accidental deaths.
