The paper is based on the Specification Analysis Tool (SAT) Software that helps users write and analyze specification text. It provides a brief history of the problem and describes SAT operations. The presentation included its evolution into general document analysis and policy analysis, which eventually resulted in the book Sustainable Development Possible with Creative System Engineering.
The International Council on System Engineering (INCOSE) Region V Chapters at the Virginia Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Center (VMASC), Suffolk Facility - VMASC West, hosted the conference. The conference topics included: System Engineering Leadership, Green and Other Solutions, Tutorials, Complexity, Cost, Schedule and Performance, and Panels and Discussions from Government and Industry. www.incose-spring09.org
From the author: "This conference was technically excellent. Every session and presentation I attended was very interesting and informative.
