AIM for Youth 5th Annual "Community Kid's Day"

Atlanta, GA, April 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- AIM for Youth, a non-profit organization aimed at serving underprivileged youth through professional athletes and entertainers, is kicking off its 5th Annual “Community Kid’s Day”, a city-wide health awareness fair where up to 1,000 youth and their families can receive free health, dental, and eye exams, fitness trainings, and informational sessions on health and nutrition. Various professional athletes and the WNBA Atlanta Dream Cheerleaders will be on hand for this fun-filled day of free health checks, exercising, nutritional eating, and healthy living.

Hosted by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta, this event will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2009, from 10am-2pm at the John H. Harland Boys & Girls Club 434 Peeples St. SW in Atlanta, GA.

Established in 2005, AIM for Youth’s mission is to provide opportunities for under-privileged youth to participate in educational, cultural, athletic, and community enrichment programs through positive, influential role models. AIM for Youth is endorsed by professional athletes and entertainers.
