Cheryl Dyck Will Use Her Knowledge and Experience as an ActionCOACH in Canada
Cheryl Dyck believes that as companies are getting more concerned with change, sustainability and profitability, business coaching is also gaining in prominence.
Las Vegas, NV, April 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Cheryl Dyck has joined the ActionCOACH business coaching firm headed by Nagui Bihelek in Canada.
She will divide her time between an office in Calgary, Alberta and her home office.
Dyck’s desire for a new challenge that would help broaden the assistance and guidance she can provide to businesses led her toward the ActionCOACH opportunity.
“I wanted to do more for my current and future clients, and as I was increasingly doing more of general mentoring for groups within organizations – and could see the trend developing,” she said. “It is very satisfying for me to help others excel.”
Dyck has over 23 years of experience in the Information and Technology industry (IT), and has served in a variety of roles, including Senior Consultant, Project Manager and IT Director. She also owned her own consulting company, which she started 19 years ago.
In her previous roles, she was involved in providing business process re-engineering, training, team building, mentoring, coaching, strategic assessments, and audits. She also has extensive training and experience with security, regulatory compliance and forensics in many business environments
“My consulting services helped organizations effectively and efficiently build integrated, strategic, streamlined business information and technology solutions,” she said. “My roles bridged the gap between business, information and technology, ensuring both worked together to meet the strategic goals and objectives of the organization.”
With a Masters in Business Administration (MBA), Dyck has helped many companies prosper from the brink of disaster to being well organized and productive organizations. She has helped many companies improve efficiencies while reducing costs and increasing profit.
Dyck is confident her past experience and knowledge will help her slip into the role of an ActionCOACH with relative ease.
“My diverse experience, team oriented approach and passion to help others will help clients excel, feel supported and prosper,” she said. “My commitment to clients and tasks at hand will ensure success and my organizational and people skills will motivate others around me to excel.”
When Dyck first came in contact with ActionCOACH, she thought it to be a great idea.
“As financial times and business environments need change, this is exactly what organizations are looking for today.”
Dyck’s business associates and family felt that given her experience and skills, she had the potential to do much more for companies than she was currently doing.
She was also looking for an opportunity where she could do something new and challenging while enjoying a more balanced lifestyle.
“I liked the vision that Nagui had and what he was trying to do. I liked his passion for helping others achieve their goals and advance their businesses,” she said. “I think this is what companies will be looking for as the baby boomers mature and want to semi-retire or retire.”
A member of the Canadian Information Processing Society (CIPS) and ISP certification, she is also on the Board of Directors for Community Residents Association and is involved in soccer coaching as well as Karate as an instructor.
ActionCOACH is the world’s number one business coaching and executive coaching firm, with more than 1,000 offices in 26 countries. To learn more, go to actioncoach.com.
