Every Day is Earth Day for Florida Businessmen

Clearwater, FL, April 23, 2009 --(PR.com)-- When Americans stop to commemorate Earth Day this Wednesday, April 22, it will be just another day at the office for a pair of local businessmen entrepreneurs whose company is making headlines around the country for breaking new ground in the field of renewable energy.

Partners Roger Eschenroeder and Hudson W. Harr joined forces just 11 months ago with a quest to promote renewable energy resources in practical ways which until now have not been utilized in the U.S. Their company, SunQuest Energy LLC, is gaining momentum and notoriety in the field as the go-to organization for solutions which utilize innovative, cost-effective applications for both new and existing forms of carbon-free energy.

Both men bring an invaluable contribution to the effort. Generating significant media buzz recently is ReCardio, brain child of Harr, who as a recent graduate of the University of Florida created and implemented a way to harness human energy from gym workouts and feed it back to the facility’s electrical grid. The product sells under ReRev.com, a subsidiary of SunQuest Energy. Since its inception at the Gainesville Health & Fitness Club, ReCardio has been installed at UF, the University of Kentucky, and Oregon State University, with several more university and private club installations pending.

Eschenroeder is no stranger to the renewable energy arena. As owner of United Marketing Associates, a company he sold in 2007, he spent 25+ years in residential and commercial solar pool heating and was instrumental in bringing solar pool heating to the summer Olympic Games in Atlanta and most recently to the Florida Governor’s Mansion. Now he and Harr are working on tapping into proven solar technology for broad-scale commercial and industrial applications. Their plans include fluid preheating for companies like bottling plants, fisheries, car washes and other enterprises which utilize large volumes of fluids which must be heated; and HVAC reheat applications for buildings that require climate and moisture control. By utilizing solar for the reheat phase of the dehumidification process, businesses can significantly lower their energy consumption while ensuring proper ventilation rates.

SunQuest Energy is also installing large-scale commercial solar pool heating systems nationwide and acts as the commercial sales agent for Heliocol, the world’s largest solar pool heating manufacturer. The company is nearing completion of its most recent success, the sale of solar pool heating for eight recreational facility pools in the City of El Paso, Texas.
