Slap Shot's Own, Dave Hanson Presents His Autobiography and Charity Pursuits on Blogtalkradio's Big Hair Hockey Show
Dave Hanson, author with Ross Bernstein, of "Slap Shot Original: The Man, The Foil, The Legend" will appear live on Blogtalkradio to discuss his autobiography, his stint with legendary actor Paul Newman and charity endeavors.

He will discuss his entertaining autobiography, his personal journey of growing up in a tough neighborhood, and reaching his quest to make it to the NHL. Dave Hanson played for the Detroit Red Wings and Minnesota North Stars. His hockey career spanned ten seasons and included stints with the World Hockey Association and the National Hockey League. He is best known for his portrayal of “Jack”, one of the unmistakably goofy enforcers of the movie Slap Shot. He manages the Robert Morris University Island Sports Center in Pittsburgh. He continues to make regular promotional appearance and is actively involved in charity endeavors with his fellow Hanson Brothers, Steve and Jeff Carlson.
